Fishing and Lake Use

Your association pays to have the lake treated monthly for algae and excessive grass growth. Residents regularly use the lake. The lake is clear and clean thus, we ask that you not add debris, coconuts or grass cuttings to the lake, as these will degrade the water quality.

* All boats in the lake are limited to peddle, paddle, or sail power. No motorized boats.

* Fishing in the lake is hook and line. No netting or trout lines are permitted. All fish caught are to be returned to the lake, commonly known as Catch and Release.

* Use of the lake is limited to residents and their guest(s). A resident CANNOT allow a guest to use the lake if the resident is not present and available to confirm and ID the guest(s).

* If a resident sees or suspects trespassing, please call 305-476-5423 and report the trespasser anonymously.

* Use of the Lake is at your own risk and responsibility.

Noise Levels

Parties, barbecues and celebrations take place throughout the year. As you have noticed, sound travels far over water and golf course alike, so please keep this in mind. Miami Dade County Ordinances prohibit loud noise, music, drums, radios, TVs and any other excessive noise. Use of power tools and landscaping equipment or any loud construction noise is prohibited between
6 PM and 8 AM and at no time on holidays.

If, after speaking with the noise offender a problem persists, please call 305-476-5423 and a police officer will be dispatched.

You and Your Pets

Pets are a wonderful part of our lives and there are rules governing their care and treatment.

  • Pooper Scooper Law must be followed ($50 fine)
  • All dogs MUST BE LEASHED ($50-$150 fine)
  • Miami Dade does not permit more than 2 adult dogs per household ($150 fine)
  • Dogs MUST be vaccinated for rabies ($50 fine)
  • Inhumane treatment or failure to properly treat an animal ($50 fine)
  • NO PIT BULLS are permitted ($500 fine)

Commercial Vehicles

The following vehicles are prohibited from parking within the RSL Community

  • Commercial vehicles
  • Vehicles with Signage or Lettering
  • Vehicles with ladder racks
  • Boats
  • House/Travel trailers or Recreational Vehicles
  • Boat trailers or trailers of any kind
